An amazing Design Crew has came on board to produce the SMALLVILLE RPG led by Line Developer Cam Banks. Writers Josh Roby, Joe Blomquist, Roberta Olson, and Mary Blomquist together with Editor Amanda Valentine did a super (sorry) job while the formidable Tiara Lynn Agresta continues to amaze in her role of Design and Creative Director. True to our vision, SMALLVILLE utilizes our popular Cortex System.
We're fortunate to have great support from SMALLVILLE Executive Producers, Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson: "Two hundred stories and counting, that is our Smallville legacy. But there are still more stories to tell. With this game, you, too, can take up the mantle of storyteller. You can create new characters, new situations, new beginnings and new ends. You can more fully explore the world we’ve all come to love… and you truly can make Clark’s story your own."

Bo the MoneyWell I am kind of excited by this. It's not a full DC RPG, but due to the way the show has gone recently things are open to a great number of additional heroes. This could be very interesting.

Jason MabryThis is one of the best RPG news items I've heard in a loooong time! As soon as I got my hands on the Supernatural RPG I thought it would be the perfect system to do Smallville and now that will come to pass! Super excited!

Eric G BunchI am a huge fan of Margaret Weis Productions from Battle star Galactica, Supernatural and Serenity. One of my friends beta tested BSG and i would love to be able to get into testing for Smallville. I have 20 years of rpg experience in numerous systems.

SnagYou're very fortunate to have Josh Roby working on this. He's an incredibly talented game designer and can only make a game about a fun television series all kinds of awesome.

ccrossley4This has to be one of the most original and inovative RPG's that I've read in a while and I dabble in a LOT of RPG's!
I've always considered myself more of a story-player than hack-n-slash, but I never realized how tied I was to the basic PC concept of stats and abilities as I was when I started looking over and trying to wrap my head around Smallville's use of Cortex Plus.
This has truly opened some amazing roleplaying game doors for me and I've already started thinking up new ways to play and stories to create.
Thanks!!!

ScottIs the plan to do the two supplements and then stop? It makes sense but the system has so much potential. Any other properties Merlin, True Blood, etc that you're looking at or are you moving full steam ahead on the broader Cortex RPG book?

Cam BanksScott: We only have two supplements planned, but we're getting a lot of great feedback about the Cortex Plus system and particularly about how we use it in Smallville. We ARE going to release a Cortex Plus System Guide, but we're also looking into other licenses for the future, including those suited to character-centric drama like Smallville.
